Junior Information

Papakura Cricket Club caters for children from Year 3 to Year 11 through our Junior Club, and both boys and girls are encouraged to join and develop their skills in this fun and fast-paced sport.

Papakura Cricket Club is committed to providing a safe and rewarding environment for the children where the focus is on fun and good sportsmanship. Children can have fun learning through play. Games and the environment are modified so children can continue to develop their skills in an age and stage appropriate setting.

New players are always welcome!
If you're new to the area just get in touch and we can find a suitable team for your child / children.

For those in Year 1 and 2 at school, Northern Districts Cricket run a SuperSmash Hub event during Term 4 and Term 1. Further information on those events, including pricing and schedule, can be found here.

Papakura Cricket Club does provide equipment for those who cannot provide their own, however it is encouraged for players to have their own equipment. Hard ball grades (Year 5-6+), players are required to have their own box (groin protection).
