Youth Under 20

This is a Sunday grade to act as a bridge between the Junior / Youth club, and the Senior club. Perfect for those who play school cricket on a Saturday, and want to play club on a Sunday.

Format: 40 over format.

Playing Ages: Players should be Under 20 years of age at as of 1st of September of the current season.

Teams: 11 player teams.

Times: Training times will be sorted by your coach after muster and before season starts.
Games are held on every second Sunday (times TBD).

Gear: Basic gear is provided for this age group. Players are required to have their own box (groin protection).

Clothing: To participate on game days players will be required to wear closed in shoes, a sunhat and white pants. Players will be provided with a PCC shirt after registration for the season.

Rules: All players are expected to follow CMCA's Junior Grade General Rules and Under 20 Rules which can be found on the CMCA website countiesmanukaucricket.co.nz. Parents should be present if possible on game days to encourage players and help coaches.

Coaching: The club is reliant on volunteers for coaching these grades. The coach will be responsible for team practices, looking after the gear bag and helping set up on game days. Your help is always appreciated, if you would like to volunteer for these sessions please contact the Junior Registrar juniors@papakuracricket.club. We have plenty of resources if you're new to coaching and are happy to help with all enquiries.
